"I'm very happy, it's an honor to win this award," Salah said when receiving the award at Melwood.
"It's always on my mind to return to the Premier League to prove to those who call me unsuccessful when I first came here.
One also thanks to Jürgen Klopp who has trusted him and make him a player like this now.
"He has helped me in many ways as I do now, both on and off the field. I thank him for all the things he has done this year.
"However, there are still two more games, we need to think about it."
