Stepping on an Old Man's Foot in a Subway

A young man rode a crowded subway and accidentally stepped on an old man's foot. Despite his sincere apologies, the old man was furious and verbally assaulted the young man during the entire trip. The young man already left the train station but the old man still followed beside him continuing the series of angry roars.

The young man said "Sorry it was really unintentional, if it makes you feel better, here is my foot you can also step on it." And the old man came to his senses.

When we adopt "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" attitude, there will be many blind and toothless people in the world. Forgiveness sets us free.
