I came across this image of a meerkat on a free stock image site today. His name is Merlin. This is his story.

Merlin gets up before the rest of his family. He enjoys the peace and serenity of the early morning. Before his day gets overrun with his wife and children's every whim and demand.

He loves his family dearly but today he can't help but imagine a different life. A life he gets to live on his own terms. If he could just make it over the hill, he could start over. Where no other meerkat knows his name.

What would he do then? Absolutely anything. That's the point.

He is quickly overcome with guilt. He loves his wife. He loves his kids. He loves his life. Plus, there is a giant hawk flying over that hill and he is too sexy to die.

To be honest though. I have no idea what this meerkat is thinking. I've never met him. I am not even sure his name is Merlin.
