The St. Tropez wife has achieved a wonderful age when a woman can be happily married to a man she loves who is undeniably handsome, rich, successful and socially upwardly mobile.

She is very comfortable and reassured by the knowledge that all her equally happily married girlfriends at the country club, quite apart from being politely envious of her, want to fuck him. She knows he knows it. Which makes the knowledge even more exciting. To have a husband who is an object of desire. Because she has the leash. And the whip hand.

She has reached the stage in her relationship when she no longer picks up men she fancies and tells her husband afterwards. But is so confident in his judgement of what turns her on she allows him to pick them up for her.

She has no problem returning home on Friday night to find another woman in their marriage bed for a sweaty weekend menage a trois. It also turns her on to bring a woman home and watch.

What she and her husband get up to puts 50 Shades in the shade.

They are inexorably complicit. And answer to no one.
