Gossip, rumors and scandals, swarm swirling around celebrities, is a natural and understandable matter. But among this circle of people there are also those to which no mud sticks. Take Alice Freindlich: does anyone ever come up with the idea that in her life there was or is there a place for something impartial? The closest attention to the facts of the biography of Alisa Brunovna does not give the slightest reason for doubt. But was everything in her life smooth and simple?

Echoes of War

Imagine what a girl with German roots felt in the besieged Leningrad (in 1941 Alisa went to first grade) is almost impossible. Hunger, bombing, physical suffering and ... moral: one sound of her "enemy" surname could lead to disaster!

However, the little Alisa and her mother coped with military hardships. True, after the victory they were forced to leave Leningrad - because of the notorious German roots. Three years they lived in Tallinn. Alice's father, the famous artist Bruno Freundlich, an ethnic German, left the family before the war and left for Tashkent.

The return to Leningrad, the graduation from the school, the occupation in the acting studio and, finally, the admission to the theater high school - all this Alisa did without the help of her father. By that time he returned from Tashkent - only with a new family.

Love affair at work

In 1955, Alice won the first film role (an episode in The Unfinished Tale) and married Vladimir Karasev's classmate. Student love, which was the basis of this marriage, came to naught at the end of the institute. After the release of the pair broke up.

Meanwhile, Alice began a professional acting career in the theater. The Leningrad City Council was directed by Igor Vladimirov. He was 16 years older than her, he was a womanizer and did not hide it. But it was Vladimirov who first saw the amazing facets of Alisa Brunovna's talent and began to stage plays for her. Over time, the creative tandem evolved into a family one: in the early 1960s, Vladimirov and Freindlich formalized relations. March 13, 1968 they had a daughter, Varvara. Most of all the mother of Alisa Ksenia Fedorovna was happy about the birth of her granddaughter. She also took care of Varya herself: her parents engaged in rehearsals and tours, the time for raising her daughter was sorely lacking.

Ironically, three years later Varya witnessed a terrible event - a grandmother's stroke. Ksenia Fyodorovna lost consciousness when neither Alisa Brunovna nor Igor Petrovich was at home. Returning from the rehearsal, Freundlich saw an awful picture: her mother lay motionless on the floor, on it - sleeping Varya, surrounded by scattered toys. From overexcitation and panic, the girl simply forgot! This was the first truly tragic event in the adult life of Alisa Brunovna.

After 10 years, Freundlich and Vladimirova's marriage broke up. The reasons for that were enough: being married, Vladimirov did not refuse intrigues on the side, periodically went into drunken booze. This Alice Brunovna could not stand. True, Vladimirov himself claimed that he initiated the divorce - and exclusively from noble motives. The thing is that at that time in the press came a devastating article about Freundlich called "The Theater of an Actress." Vladimirov, they say, did not want to "substitute" the spouse for heavy fire of criticism.
The director confirmed the noble words with wide gestures, leaving Alice Brunovna's apartment (he himself moved to the hotel). After the divorce Freundlich still continued to work in the theater. The Leningrad Soviet, but it turned out to be very difficult: the relationship of the former spouses slowed down creative impulses.

A new turn

Freundlich moved to the BDT them. Tovstonogov, in parallel, having established relations with the young artist Yuri Solovyom. The third marriage of Alisa Brunovna disintegrated in 1990. The reasons turned out to be banal: Yuri was terribly jealous of his wife's work - her success, luck, professionalism. The reproaches turned into scandals and tantrums, those - in prolonged stress. Realizing the impossibility of being further in place, the couple quite friendly disbanded: Freindlich even bustled before the city administration to provide the former husband with living space! However, soon after the divorce Soloviev moved to permanent residence in Israel.

What now?

Daughter Freundlich Varvara became an actress. Alisa Brunovna herself does not like the souls in her grandchildren Nikita and Anna, and seems happy. The only trouble in recent years - the operation on the intestines in 2011 - as doctors say, was inevitable because of malicious smoking Freundlich.
