To every smile Ade beamed, Leke would scorn him and make Ade feel bad. He continued to nag and complain and whine about everything Ade did. His jealousy had blinded him that he became embittered and insultive to everyone.

One day, Leke had gone to see his beloved Nui. He had met her father in front of the compound, sharpening his cutlass. He greeted.
"Welcome my son," replied Nui's father, "I trust your friend, Ade is well?" asked the man, innocently.
"Why is everyone torturing me with this name?" he barked out angrily, "I came to see Nui, please. Ade must be in that bush of his right now." Said Leke, a flash of hate in his eyes.
Kuru, Nui's father, was surprised at his outburst, "Something must be bothering Leke," he said to himself, "Very well then, Nui must be in her hut." He replied as he continues to sharpen his cutlass.
