Strength training or resistance training is a type of physical exercise that implies the use of some heavyweights or our own body weight while exercising.
It builds bone strength, size of skeletal muscles, anaerobic endurance, and tendon power.

You can't simply do the same workout with same reps daily and hope your strength will improve.
Like I said before, you increase your strength by working harder than before.
When you workout, take only heavyweights(not too much, otherwise you'll injure yourself), aim to do 8-12 reps at a moderate frequency. Increase a little bit load on your second set and try to do 8-12 reps. On your third set, try a weight that you can't lift more than 8 reps, and lift up to failure.
Increase your weight and reps day by day, and that's how you can maximize your strength.

Why you should Strength train today?

Having the strength of the strongest man in your gym is going to have a dramatic difference in your body.
The stronger you become, the more weight you can lift.
Imagine this: You are training for months to maximize strength and suddenly switch back to muscle-building. The result, you lift more weight and gain more muscle fast.
Additionally, it can improve your ability to do more things and keeps you active all day long.
