EVANGEHLYNN WRITES; HOW TO BE GREAT IN LIFE

Everyone has their own definition of what it means to be great or successful in life. The majority of people consider success as financial prosperity or having a house, car and a good job. While all these things are good, that is not what determines success or greatness according to God's standards.

Now, the world might not care about what God considers as success or greatness but as a child of God, you should be concerned about what God thinks about this. According to God's standards, great or successful people are those who serve their generation with His will and purpose for their lives.

True greatness begins when you stop thinking only about yourself and start thinking about impacting others with your gifts and fulfilling God's purpose for your life. Of course, it will take you out of your comfort zone but that is the way to greatness.

God's purpose for your life is not for your life to be all about you but about others. Th gifts of God in you is not for your benefit only but for the world. As you serve the world with your gift, a position of authority is created in the world for you and you enjoy all the blessings that come with it.

Look around you and you will see so many people trying to become great in life but are struggling because they missed the way. Some of them know the way but are too selfish to walk on that path. They don't want to serve the world but they want the world to serve them. Jesus Christ, the true definition of greatness, denied himself, thought about the world and served the world with his gifts and purpose. And when he ascended to Heaven, the Father highly exalted him and gave him a Name above every other name and committed all things to His authority.

Beloved, life is not about you alone. Life is about others. When you think about others, you will evangelize and win souls for the Lord Jesus. When you think about others, you will build your gifts in the Lord so that you can become more effective and a better solution to their problems. When you think about others, you will go out of your room, house, family, city, country and continent to transform the lives of tens, hundreds, thousands, millions and eventually billions.

If you want to win the heart of God, serve the world with your gifts in Christ and pursue His purpose for your life; that is what brings true success.
