The way I approach the mind and how to work with it has been out there for some time - essentially it is based on writing and mapping yourself out in a radically (self-)honest way, forgiving yourself on the points in order to let go, plus writing out a step-by-step action plan to which you commit yourself - especially when you see yourself going into the same pattern again (which includes implementing practical steps and techniques as slowing yourself down, being mindful/Self-Aware, breathing exercises and stabilization techniques).

I have been working with this in my direct environment, and am aiming at taking it to the next level. Hence my Steemit blogs. ;) Also me and my girlfriend are starting our own coaching/training agency where we will give courses and workshops centered around these kind of topics.
