SteemVM v0.0.4-1: Security Hardening & Updated Validator Images

SteemVM v0.0.4-1 is a routine security maintenance rebuild. Most importantly: no exploits, incidents or network problems have occurred and the chain's consensus/state-machine logic has not been changed.

The new images have been rebuilt on an updated dependency and patched foundation. You can see the new images here. Not much has changed here. Very few changes have been made here.

What the team did before publishing:

  • Ran full test suite — all packages passed
  • Booted devnet with patched binary
  • 8 blocks successfully produced
  • No panics were seen
  • All three oracle clients started successfully on the new image

Everything is now running smoothly and there are no issues. In addition, all the issues we saw earlier are now completely resolved and it is now working quite well.

The SVM network is running normally, and the goal of this update is to reduce future security risks.
