SVM Testnet: Network Stability, Live DeFi Liquidity & SVM App Ahead
Following the successful deployment and verification of 28 Sherpa Protocol smart contracts and the launch of the Blockscout explorer, the SVM Testnet has now entered a stable post-deployment phase.
Smart contracts, validator-run price oracles, and network infrastructure are functioning as expected. Simultaneously, Sherpa Protocol's liquidity pools have gone live, and preparations are underway for the next phase: the launch of the SVM App frontend.
Current Network Statistics
| Metric | Status |
|---|---|
| Total Blocks | 364,052+ |
| Transactions | 13,167 |
| Transaction Fees | 380.052397 STEEM |
| Active Validators | 11 / 12 |
| Sherpa Contracts | 28 Deployed & Verified |
| Liquidity Pools | Live |
Network Stability
Post-deployment health checks have been successfully completed. The network is currently:
- Maintaining stable consensus
- Executing smart contracts correctly
- Receiving data from validator-run price oracles
- Processing DeFi-related transactions
Following the 0% inflation governance proposal, SVM is adhering to a pure fee-market model. To date, 380.052397 STEEM in testnet transaction fees has been generated, serving as a key indicator of network activity.
Sherpa Protocol Liquidity Pools
Sherpa Protocol's liquidity pools have now been officially initialized and are live.
Via SVM Scan, one can view:
- Active liquidity pools
- Liquidity depth
- Trading activity
This marks a significant milestone for SVM, as the network is now testing functional DeFi capabilities alongside its EVM-compatible infrastructure.
SVM App Frontend
The next major step is the deployment of the SVM App frontend. Through the planned interface, users can easily:
- Connect EVM-compatible wallets
- Wrap/unwrap STEEM to use wSTEEM
- View and interact with active liquidity pools
- Monitor positions and transaction history
This reduces the need for raw contract calls or manual interaction via block explorers.
Validator & Oracle Infrastructure
Currently, 11 out of 12 validators are active.
The validator network plays a crucial role in consensus and oracle data processing. Accurate oracle data has become increasingly vital for DeFi applications following the launch of the Sherpa Protocol.
Post-deployment testing confirms that the interaction between smart contracts and validator-run price oracles is functioning correctly.
