If your eyes could speak
While completing my research on people and their facial expressions for a project, I realized that many people have windows to their soul. Yes, it sounds eerie and not something everyone talks about.
Many ladies in other countries, including Dubai and Korea have no choice but to cover their faces. It is believed that only the eyes may be seen because the rest of the body is sacred and not meant to be shared with the public.
This is a wonderful gesture, in my own opinion, for many young ladies grow up, having a fear of rejection or not being loved because of the way they look and then getting caught in the wrong crowds with the wrong people. By keeping their bodies sacred and tucked away for their future husband they not only ensure their own safety but also side steps the bad people in life that may cause them harm just because of the way they look.
Now, I have another question for you- we all understand that no two people are able to look at you and see the same person standing in front of them. Why is that?
I'll tell you why...
We are all my equal, but we are also all made different.
Different because of our individual upbringings.
Different because of our ideas.
Different because if everyone were the same, there would not be excitement or anything to look forward to in the world.
We should open our eyes more and see...
We have been placed in a wonderful world, packed with glorious spaces and places.
Open your eyes and meet new people.
When was the last time you greeted a stranger on the street purely out of happiness or good manner?
Well them, start today.
I understand that because of many dangers in the world a person (not only women) are caught in the crossfire of crime and theft. We should remember that not all people cause pain because it makes then happy or give them a "fix". There are many people out there crying for comfort and understanding from their fellow man.
Searching for someone to see their pain and take it all away.
I had recently done a study on child behavior and realized that children who feels left out often tends to act out just to get attention. How many grown-ups aren't doing the exact same thing?
I am solely convinced that if we were to act with kindness, the world would not be such a mess today.
Children are caught in crossfires, being sold as slaves and even being abused by close family members. Many societies turn a blind eye because that would mean that someone is at fault. The don't want to stand up because they don't feel like taking the blame. People want the glory and fame but despise responsibility.
When looking at the pictures above we cannot tell what they are going through of what had happened in their lives, but their eyes carry raw emotion better than anything else on earth.
Many of these photographs contain stories that have never been told and have yet to be examined but it is clear that their eyes tell their stories.
If your eyes could speak, what would they say?
