The Door God Opens Will Require You to Depend on Him
There have been days where my strength seems to be all but existent, however through prayer, standing on God’s promises, faith and God’s Love I can be restored or a door will open to either the rest or opportunity I need to cover my lack.
Some of you may be able to relate to that feeling and also be able to relate to a situation that feels much like a scene in the movie, Monsters, inc. The one where, Mike, Sulley, and Boo are dangling from the conveyor belt filled with thousands of doors. But they can’t open just any door. Walking through the wrong door could put them in a blizzard or in the heat of a desert. Opening the right one would take them home. So they hang on with all their strength, fighting the enemy who sought to distract and destroy, until they can reach the one door they know means safety and security.
The Lord has a path and a plan designed just for you. As you gain ground the Devil will try and distract you, or send you the wrong way. Today I encourage you to pray on your decisions, on the words you choose to speak, the doors you choose to open, pray to choose the path God has intended for you and don’t stand in doubt. God wants us to step through in faith. Not every door is meant for us. Not every door leads us home, but the right door leads us to a journey designed specifically for us to embark. Psalm 23:1-3
You are worth the right door, think of these before turning knobs or feeling restless about your decision.
The Door that God Opens Will Never Contradict His Word, it will not require personal compromise.
The Door that God Opens Will be Accompanied by Confirmation Mathew 18:15-16
The Door God Opens Will Require You to Depend on Him.
If he has set you on a path that means growth, or expansion know that he will also provide you with the tools or Avenue to acquire the knowledge you need. Pray for discernment.
Amen
