Block all adult sites on your home or enterprise and increase safety!

Hello Steemians! I am here today to explain how to change the DNS Server!

This is useful so that we can have access to websites like "thepiratebay", without having the block of internet servers, and for families or companies that want to block adult content.

So let's START:

The DNS server that I will use in this example is the OpenDNS but there are more (for example, google). In this case we will install the one that blocks adult content.

First, we go to the control panel through the start menu,

 

Second, You click in the option "Network and sharing center":

 

 

Third, you click on “Card Settings”:

 

 

Here is the internet card that you are using. If you are using WIFI it will be the one with these traits:

 

 

 if you have cable you will have this card:

 

 

Forth, in my case, I use cable, so we'll click with the right side and go to properties

 

 

Fifth, click Protocol IP Version 4, and then click on Properties

 

 

Sixth, we will have to go to the following link: https://www.opendns.com/setupguide/#familyshield and get our name servers.

Click here on this ball and then copy the two addresses in order.

 

 

Ok, close and you're done!

 

Now you can go test it!
