Google extends integration with PayPal, the well-known online payment service is now also available for Google Play store purchase, YouTube subscriptions, and direct debits from the Gmail app.
Once added to the Google Play app, the PayPal account can be selected as a payment option and used as an alternative to the bank card for any Google service that supports this payment method, including the app store.
If payments made from your web browser are not accepted, Google supports PayPal payments without re-authenticating to your PayPal account, which is already set as a payment method. What's more, the new PayPal option increases the risk of accidental payments (for example when using mobile phones by other people in the family) or fraudulent (in the case of cell phone theft), but we can avoid these situations by choosing to request a password for authorization transactions.
