"Police robot" is officially launched in Dubai: it can be communicated in 6 languages
According to the Russian satellite network, the Arabia business magazine Arabian Business reported that the first police robot was formally joined by Dubai police in May 21st.
The robot is 170 centimeters tall and weighs 100 kilograms. It is equipped with "emotion detection device", can be resolved within 1.5 meters of the movements and gestures, but also can distinguish between facial emotion and expression.
While patrolling the streets, the robot will help police find illegal personnel and provide related video records. Police in Dubai say robots can help people on the streets and in public places, and can also fight crime and take charge of the city's security.
The robot can identify direction by means of placement navigation system, communicate in 6 languages, including English and Arabic, and provide police related payment services to residents through it.
