NIKOLA TESLA: A MEN OF LIGHT!! THE FORGOTTEN GENIUS.

Nicola TESLA was a servian-american inventor, born on 10 July 1856 in Smiljam, modern Croatia.
History tell us he was born " at the stroke of midnight with ligthing striking during a summer storm".
TESLA was a inventor, mechanical engineer, electrical enginner, a physicist and a futurist. Over his life he had patent over 300 inventions.

TESLA moved to Budapest to work at Central Telephone Exchange IN 1881. During his employment Tesla was assigned the position of Chief Electrician and made himself numerous improvements to the equipments and also developed an amplifier device.
At the age 28, Nikola TESLA moved to America and arrived to New York City with 4 cents in his pocket, some mathematical computations and a letter of introduction from one of Edison business partners in Europe, Charles Batchelor.

A MEN OF LIGHT

TESLA began work with Thomas Edison on 8 june, 1884 at Edison facilities, Edison Machine Works. Wharever this assossiation was very brief.
TESLA left Edison after 6 moths.
In TESLA autobiography, he states that while working for Edison, TESLA salary was only 18$ when was promised 50000$ for the completion of certain tasks. Edison turned it out to be a practical joke and TESLA end up resigned and terminate Edison's assossiation.

THE WAR OF CURRENTS.

At 1880s, TESLA and Edison were in a battle know as War of CURRENTS.
Edison developed a direct current system during the early years of electricity. Shorthanded DC was a standard in U.S but there was a problem. DC is not easily converted to higher our lower voltages, and long distance distribution was almost impossible due to dangerous sparking , higth costs and energy-efficient.
TESLA solution was alternative current. Reversing current direction a certain number of times using a transformer.
At the 1893 World's Expo, those 2 electrical system suppliers were competing to ligth the fair by electricity. It was clear that who would ligth the fair would soon ligth the world!!!!
General electric first bid was 1.8 million $ follow for a 2 bid worth 554000$.
George Westinghouse, Tesla investor , armed with tesla new induction motor, proposed to ligth the fair for 339000$.
TESLA A.C. polyphase motor won the contract and will not only ligth the fair , but America and the world in the next follow years.

RADIO

Tesla created the first patent and introduce the principles of radio devices. Guillermo Marconi used most of TESLA patents for his first device that named him the father of radio.
In 1943 U.S supreme court deemed Marconi patents invalid , as he was using principles and patents that TESLA introduced.
However, Guglielmo Marconi went to be named the father of RADIO and TESLA work was ignored.
