🌱 Seriotica by Serious Seeds – My New Grow Adventure Starts Soon!

Big thanks to @steemchiller for pointing me toward this beauty! I saw the pictures, read the description, and instantly knew I had to grow Seriotica. That reddish-pink-crimson-purple color shift on the leaves and buds? Insane. Thick frost everywhere. Looks like a total showstopper.

Quick research on Seriotica (Serious Seeds)

• Genetics: Serious’ own Mimosa × Cookies (Girl Scout Cookies)
• Type: Mostly Indica hybrid (but very versatile)
• THC: 25–28% – Very High
• CBD: Low
• Flowering time: 5.5–7.5 weeks (37–58 days). Early chop = more uplifting/sativa vibe. Longer = stronger indica body feel.
• Yield: 350–500 g/m² indoor (some growers report even higher)
• Plant style: Short, sturdy, doesn’t stretch much. Excellent mold & mildew resistance. Loves LST/HST/lollipopping.
• Colors: Leaves and buds develop beautiful pink, crimson and purple tones toward the end of flower. Exactly what I was hoping for!
• Smell/Taste: Citrus (orange/lemon), fruity (starfruit, honeydew), cookie dough, sweet “gas” – varies by pheno but always delicious and the scent stays strong even after curing.
• Effects: Strong but balanced “get stuff done” high. Not completely couch-locking. Early harvest = energetic & mood-lifting. Longer harvest = more relaxing.

My grow plan

Seeds ordered on July 7th (site is closed for holidays until the 6th). Shipping can take up to 2 weeks, so they should arrive around mid-to-late July.
I’m setting them up in my home office – perfect spot! Early morning sunrise rays hit the windows directly, plus I have great air vents and airflow. Natural light + fresh air should make these girls explode with vigor and color.

Veg 3–4 weeks → Flower 6–8 weeks.
I’m going to document everything: germination, veg, training, flower colors, trichome shots, and finally the harvest & cure.

I’ll also be posting this full grow journey in The Hemp Empire community (https://steemit.com/trending/hive-120567) – it’s mostly just me posting there right now, so these updates should bring some fresh juice and activity!

Once everything is dried and cured, I’m sharing the flowers with a few close friends for a proper taste & smoke session. Can’t wait to hear what they think of this sophisticated, multi-layered strain.

Super excited for this one. First time running Seriotica and I already feel like it’s going to be special.
