The pace is quickening, the Steem is rising.

As we are about to enter the final quarter of the 100 Days of Steem project the level of activity is growing every day.

New contests, new challenges, new curators… the Community certainly seems to be building momentum again.

We are delighted with the progress of The Diary Game, and we are even more delighted to see great initiatives coming from the community like Music for Steem.

The Diary Game

We are quite overwhelmed by the uptake of The Diary Game.

It really seems to have caught the attention of so many of you.

And we so much want to thank every one of you that is taking the time to share their daily lives.

Participation numbers are zooming through the roof - we expect to break through 150 diary gamers later this week.

In case anyone reading this post has missed out on The Diary Game so far, full details of how to join are in yesterday’s update post.

Basically all you have to do is write a diary post each day about your daily life to be in with a chance of winning a share of the 2750 STEEM prize pool.

The Diary Game runs until the end of the 100 Days project, so with over 250 points still to play for, it is very much worthwhile joining in...

Community Curators

The Community Curators for June are now half way through their month…

• 200K SP - @beautychicks (@steemcurator05)

• 200K SP - @greenhouseradio (@steemcurator06)

• 200K SP - @roadofrich (@steemcurator07)

• 200K SP - @stef1 (@steemcurator08)

The big news this week is that @wherein has now been awarded a direct 1 million SP delegation so this freed up the 500K SP @steemcurator03 curation account.

This is now being passed to the Steem Greeters of the STEEM POD project to particularly work on rewarding and retaining newcomers during their first six weeks on the platform.

If any individual, or even better any group or team, would like to become a Community Curator next month, applications are open until June 21st...

So far we have received applications from @elgranpoeta, @nevlu123, @ospro, @steem-supporter and @stef1.

If anyone has already applied but isn’t on this list please post in the comments below and tag @steemcurator01.

Previous applicants, both successful and unsuccessful, are welcome to apply again.

If any of the current Community Curators want to be considered for a continuation next month they must apply again either with a new application or an indication that they want to resubmit their previous application. The Steem Greeters will automatically be continuing into July as a special curation project.

The STEEM POD Project

There are now 8 people enrolled in the STEEM POD Project - @cmp2020, @cryptokannon, @kiwiscanfly and @mariita52 as Steem Greeters, @marcosdk as a Social Promoter, @leveuf (@knitrias) and @team-mexico as Community Leaders, and @oppongk as our first Country Curator for Ghana.

The four Steem Greeters have kindly agreed to take on the special PODTASK of running the @steemcurator03 Community Curation account to target newcomers to the platform to help build retention.

In recognition of this additional responsibility their STEEM POD delegations are being increased to 3000 SP...

We are still looking to expand the STEEM POD.

It is hoped that new Steem Greeters will be announced in the next few days, but we are still taking applications if anyone is interested.

The roles of Social Promoter, Community Leader and Country Curator are currently being reviewed to see how they can be made more attractive and more effective.

In the meantime we are open to hearing from anyone that would like to get involved with the STEEM POD project. If you believe you have suitable experience to help take Steem to the next level and are 100% dedicated to the platform, please tag @steemcurator01 in a comment, or make a post explaining how you can contribute.

The 100 Days are flying by fast.

This has been a fantastic experience for us all so far.
