The Diary Game:A Trip To My Village (27/7/2025)

My village is one of the sweetest and most peaceful places you can ever be. From the delicious food to the fresh fruits, clean air, beautiful landscape, and calm weather, everything about it feels like nature’s perfect gift.

The morning of the trip, I woke up feeling energetic and thrilled because I knew the goodness that awaited me. We set out in the mid-afternoon, and the moment we arrived, the warm smiles and familiar faces of extended family and friends made my heart full. I even got gifted several food items by relatives, which lifted my spirit even more. After spending some time with my cousins, we headed to my maternal home.

There, I joined my uncle’s wife in preparing lunch, and trust me, the meal was nothing short of delicious! There’s something magical about cooking with fresh ingredients straight from the farm it just hits differently. After eating, I took a short walk around, enjoying the view and soaking in the peaceful village atmosphere.

Soon it began to get dark, so we packed up and got ready to head back. As usual, we weren’t allowed to leave empty-handed. We were blessed with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables to take home. We arrived before it got completely dark, tired but happy. Honestly, there was no need for dinner; we were still full from all the village enjoyment.

I prepared my little boy for bed and watched him drift into peaceful sleep. Afterwards, I unpacked all the fruits and veggies, stored some in the refrigerator, freshened up, and finally settled into bed with a grateful heart.

It was truly a fun-filled day—reconnecting with family, enjoying nature, and eating fresh farm food. That night, I slept like a baby, content and thankful for the simple joys of village life.
