The Diary Game [25/05/2026]A Slow And Feverish Start And Self Medicating

Good evening everyone, I trust your day went well. I want to welcome you to another day in my diary. Well, today started off really slow for me cause I woke up with fever.

It all started the previous night. Just before bed, I started feeling cold and headache at the same time. I didn’t really take it serious, I just waved it off. But when I woke the next morning, it had already gotten a little worse than the previous day. It wasn’t really a good feeling at all, cause I wasn’t feeling like myself. I was dull, slow, unhappy. So, I gathered a little strength to heat the meal we cooked the previous day and eat before taking drugs.

So, after heating up the food, I dished out a little portion from it. I ate, but I noticed I couldn’t really get the real taste of the food due to the fever. It messed up my taste buds, so I just ate a little, at least enough to help me take my medicine.

Well, after eating, I went to the drawer where we keep medicine. It’s like a first aid box at home for emergency situations like mine, at least before going to the hospital for proper medication. And luckily, I saw a medicine whose description of what it works for fits what I am experiencing, so I took it.

After taking the drugs, I went straight back to bed and slept for long hours. I just woke up this evening feeling a little better. I ate and took my medicine again, and now I want to go back to sleep, hoping I wake up feeling totally better. If not, I’ll have to go to the hospital, and I hate hospitals.
