The Diary Game: Attending Memorial Of Christ Death In Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah Witnesses (02/04/2026)

I was just checking status updates on whatsApp and I came across my former land-lady status, in the status my land-lady and her co-partners were holding an invite saying we want you to come. I was there last year and this year I felt I should be present as well. The memorial reminds me of my late mother, she was one of Jehovah Witnesses and we lost her toward s the memorial date, she died on 2nd of April 2013. The memorial of that year was exactly the same date as this year memorial and I had to go in memory of my late mother and that of Christ date. I had to be there and I slide into my former land-lady dm and ask her the time of the memorial. She replied that it’s 6:30pm and I told her I’ll be there.

My friend that is one of Jehovah Witnesses also sent me messages on WhatsApp regarding the memorial and I told her I’ll be there but not the same congregation with theirs, I told her it’s a Yoruba congregation I’ll like to attend, she was very happy I’ll be attending one,I did all I want to do on time that very day, I prepared my children ahead and we dress up and we were all done and ready to move by 4:30pm because the distance of the congregation was quite far. Hubby was planning to go out and we wanted him to take us along so it’s would easier to get there on time. I went to pack clothes outside before leaving and boom there’s this thick dark cloud, rain is about to fall. Hubby had a space bus but one of our neighbors broke the back windscreen so he couldn’t take it out. It’s only is bike that is available at the moment .

We had to wait till the rain stopped, hubby said he’s not going anymore because of the heavy rain fall. After 20 to 30minutes when the rain stopped, hubby ask if I’ll still like to go but it was almost 6:00pm . I summoned the courage to go and I hope to meet up but traffic held us till 6:10pm, I finally got there around 6:22pm they are almost done and I couldn’t take pictures anymore I was already late but there’s this satisfaction I felt, I was extremely happy that I attended.
