The Diary Game: My view on Mutual Understanding (11/12/2025)

My beautiful steemians as always I salute you all as a sign of respect and love. Permit me to share this thought of mine without "photo backups" but it carries a "mental charge up".

Often we clash with persons not mostly on heavy issues, but trivial actions, words etc. it make us hit at each other with more hurtful words not necessary at all. I've come to realize that something as small and simple as mutual understanding saves the day and moments from chaos.

What is mutual understanding?

Mutual understanding means that two or more people clearly understand each other’s thoughts, feelings, intentions, and perspectives. It’s when communication is so clear and respectful that everyone involved is “on the same page.”

Here’s a simple breakdown: What Mutual Understanding Involves

• Clear communication: Both sides express themselves honestly and plainly.
• Active listening: Each person pays attention, not just waiting to reply.
• Empathy: Trying to see things from the other person’s point of view.
• Clarification: Asking questions to avoid assumptions.
• Agreement or alignment: Not necessarily thinking the same way, but understanding each other’s positions.
• Mental sacrifice: Mistakes agreeing to the other parties opinion even when it doesn't sit well with you (you don't align to it).
  

Why mutual understanding Matters

• Improves teamwork and cooperation
