Warm greetings to this cherished community. I extend my heartfelt welcome to each of you with immense gratitude, joy, and appreciation towards God Almighty. It is truly an honor to share moments of faith, fellowship, and family with such a loving and united group. As we embark on this journey together, occasions like these serve as reminders that we are not just individuals but one family connected by love, service, and God's grace. I am excited to share how I celebrated Passover night at my church, The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Use Offot Congregation, Uyo Parish. It was a night filled with memories and spiritual upliftment, one that will remain in our hearts for a long time. The atmosphere brimmed with reverence, anticipation, and profound gratitude as members came together to commemorate this sacred occasion. The Passover night was more than just an event; it was a profound experience. From the opening prayers through the moments of praise, worship, and reflection, God's presence was unmistakable among us. We were reminded of His faithfulness, His protection, and His boundless love that has sustained us through past seasons and brought us into a new year. Indeed, it was a night of deliverance, remembrance, and hope.

By God's grace, I played an essential role in organizing the church service as the Chairman of the Management Committee. I approached this responsibility with humility and dedication, understanding that leadership in God’s house is primarily a call to serve. Alongside other devoted members, we worked diligently to ensure that the church environment was welcoming, organized, and well-prepared for the congregation. Every action, sacrifice, and coordination was aimed at glorifying God.
Witnessing everything come together seamlessly brought me great joy and gratitude. From logistics to coordination, God blessed us with wisdom, unity, and strength. To His glory, the Passover night concluded with praise, without confusion, mishaps, or sorrow. Instead, we raised our voices in thanksgiving, recognizing that God had gone before us and blessed our efforts.
One of the most poignant moments of the night was reflecting on our journey and realizing that we all entered 2026 together as a family and community. We counted ourselves, and everyone was present. This is a significant testimony. In a world fraught with uncertainties, challenges, and losses, God has protected every member of our congregation, leading our hearts to overflow with gratitude.
As we step into this new year, our church has embraced a powerful and reassuring theme: “Grace upon Grace.” This theme resonates deeply with our spirits. It reminds us that we stand not by our strength or righteousness but by God’s abundant grace. We will receive grace to overcome, to grow, to serve, and to fulfill our destinies in 2026.

In conclusion, my Passover night celebration was a wonderful blend of service, worship, unity, and gratitude. It reaffirmed my love for God’s house and my commitment to serving His people. I pray that this year, characterized by Grace upon Grace, will bring peace, progress, spiritual growth, and divine favor to every family in this community.
