The Diary Game: Saturday For Rest And Reading As A Student (21/02/2026)

Saturday is not always the best of days because I will have to endure the day, try to see what I could do to keep myself busy, not even reading can help me from the shackles not boredom on Saturdays. That's why in the morning, I left the house to go and watch football in our school field.

Like I said before, my school isn't far from where my house is, so I strolled and entered school just to go and see if I could wild away time for some minutes before returning back home to go and rest. I was blaming myself for not coming to this field with my training kits because I would've trained with others, there were enough ball for everyone to train with, so many groups played ball there.

I stayed till 10:00am, I left the field to my house. When I got to the house, the clothes I wore to the field had stains, I don't know where the stains came from, wether it's from the place I sat while watching the ball but anyways, I washed it.

The weather was fair today, not really sunny and not really cold, just and in-between weather I am always praying for us to have because if it's like that, people will be going out to go and hustle.

I was hungry in the afternoon, so I took the rice in the house and I cooked it like that, I didn't have money to buy so much ingredients even fish, I just cooked it with the ingredients in the house and I ate it.

After eating, I went to my bed and I slept off because I was stressed after eating. I slept throughout that afternoon and even when I woke up, the sleep wasn't still cleared from my eyes, I had to go back again to my bed to sleep.

When I finally woke up, I saw an alert, it was from my friend back then when I was still in Anambra, he asked for my account details before I went to bed and when he sent the money and I saw it, I called him to appreciate him then I went to the store up front and went there to buy smoove to drink. When I went there, the man had to search inside his fridge, removing other drinks aside and at the end, he saw it and gave it to me.

I brought the drinks and used it to eat the rice I cooked. This was how I was able to finish the less ingredient rice I cooked in the afternoon. I will cook something proper tomorrow and till then, I will like to take a bow from here.
