The Diary Game: 28/05/2026 || Children's Day Celebration Through My Lense.
Today already felt different from the morning because it was Children’s Day, and everywhere around carried this lively and happy atmosphere, children dressed neatly, schools preparing for celebrations, and people moving around excitedly for different activities happening across the city. Seeing all of that already made the day feel active before I even stepped out of the house, because you could tell it was going to be one of those joyful days filled with fun and beautiful moments everywhere around
As a photographer, I already knew I wanted to cover some moments from the celebration, so before leaving the house, I carefully arranged my camera and everything I would need for the day. I checked my battery, cleaned my lens, and packed my camera bag properly because I wanted to arrive fully prepared without stress. While getting ready, I was already imagining the kind of pictures and moments I would capture during the Children’s Day event.
After preparing everything, I stepped out and started heading towards the event venue, and along the road the atmosphere already looked lively because many students, teachers, and parents were also moving around for the celebration. Some children were already dressed in their school uniforms while others wore colorful outfits, and the movement around the road made the whole city feel active and connected to the Children’s Day celebration happening everywhere
When I finally reached the main stadium where the event was happening, the environment already looked full of life from outside because many schools had gathered there for the celebration. Different groups stood around the entrance while teachers organized their students before entering inside. Even before stepping into the stadium, you could already hear sounds of music, cheering, and people talking, and that alone made the place feel exciting and welcoming
As I entered inside the stadium with my camera, the atmosphere immediately felt bigger because the whole place was crowded with students, teachers, and parents from different schools. Everywhere you looked, children were laughing, talking with friends, and moving around happily while music played around the stadium. Even with the large crowd, the environment still felt peaceful and organized, and the energy inside the stadium made the event feel even more special
One of the best moments during the event was when the children started marching in groups with their schools, because the whole movement looked organized and smooth from beginning to end. Different schools marched proudly while teachers guided them properly, and the children looked happy and confident as they walked around the stadium. Watching the march past with my camera felt really nice because the atmosphere stayed calm, peaceful, and full of celebration all through the event
As the event continued, I kept moving around with my camera, capturing different moments happening around the stadium. Some children danced, some sang, while others simply enjoyed the event with their friends and teachers around them. Those little moments were some of the best parts of the day because they looked natural and full of real happiness, and every angle around the stadium carried something interesting worth capturing through my lens
The crowd inside the stadium also added a lot to the event because people reacted happily to every performance and activity happening around them. Parents cheered for their children, teachers encouraged their students, and everywhere around felt alive with positive energy. Even though the stadium was crowded, the whole atmosphere remained peaceful and enjoyable, and that balance made the celebration feel comfortable and well organized throughout the day
By the time the event started coming to an end, I had already captured many beautiful moments from the Children’s Day celebration, and looking around the stadium one last time felt satisfying because the whole experience came together nicely. From preparing my camera at home to capturing the children marching and enjoying themselves peacefully, everything about the day felt meaningful, and it was nice being able to document those memories through my camera lens.
