Mornings are often filled with the bustle of ward rounds and classes. The intensity of these hours involves absorbing new information, shadowing seasoned professionals, and adapting to the fast-paced hotel and healthcare environment. This is where I've learned the value of presence. Entering a room, connecting with colleagues, and exuding confidence leave an impression just as significant as the work I perform.

In the afternoons, as classes wind down and the workload lightens, I start to reflect on my presence. I began to view style as a means of self-expression. One particular afternoon, I decided to step outside my comfort zone, donning a red baseball-style shirt with red checkered shorts. The outfit was simple and comfy, yet bold enough to radiate confidence. Interestingly, my choice was influenced by a friend who effortlessly embodies “chic.” Sometimes, someone's vibe can ignite your own sense of identity.
