The Diary Game: A Day of Friendship and Farewells At The Airport.
Greetings to my wonderful steemit family! happy Sunday to you all. I hope you are all having a good time? Today was one of those days that would remain in my memory, as I went to bid farewell to a very important person in my life. My day started like most of my morning, waking up, saying my prayers and doing my morning chores. Honestly I totally forgot that it's today my friend was traveling out of the country, so when I received his call that he was heading to the airport, I had to quickly went out to buy something for breakfast, so I can dress up quickly to meet him and bid farewell.
The sky was bright and promising. After taking my breakfast, I quickly took my bath, dressed up and went down to the park to board a bus to the airport. There's something special about making out time for people who matters to you, no matter how busy you are, you just need to show up for them.
It was a moment I didn't want to miss and luckily I was able to meet up with time, we gisted and caught up with so many things. Then it was time for him to board his flight, we bid farewell to each other.
Saying goodbye was bittersweet, I was happy for his journey but will definitely miss him. After that, I boarded a taxi home. Even though I missed today's service, I was still fulfilled
