The Diary Game (Day -9, August 9 ,2020):- Story of Sunday

in #thediarygame4 years ago

Hello everyone, wish you all aa happy Monday. Monday is the fresh beggining for everyone to stick to the week schedules . After the lazy sunday many of us get back to our daily routines of work, studies , workouts etc. For making our week fresh and enthusiastic we spend our sunday resting and doing different things or following our hobbies.

I did spend my sunday following my hobby. I read a story book. Probably the best I ever read.

Let's begin .

I woke up at 8:00 a.m. in the morning. As it was sunday I procastinated for an hour to get fresh. After baghun and all my morning routines. I checked whether any of my college work is pending. There was nothing left to do except watching some video lectures on YouTube.
After eating my breakfast . I did surfing on internet , checked my instagram and whatsapp too.

Then I decided to spend my whole day doing my favourite things i.e. reading stories. Instead of reading stories on internet, I observed my bookshelf and took out an outstanding story book.

The Giver

I started at near 11 in the morning and fall into the book again. I read this book 2 times already in the past. But I loved to read it again.
The incredible story of ' The Giver' by 'Lois Lowry's teach us the importance of ups and downs in life. Without problems, struggles, love , and unity our life will be colourless. As in story The hero Jonas was leaving in a colourless place. A place without struggles, love . A perfect place where we don't have choices. We only have a clock of life where it leads us to death without tasting the truth of life.

And the Escape begins...

The story fo giver everytime gives me the view and will to experience the colours of life with new enthusiasm and happiness.

I left my study table once to have lunch. I was reading the book till half past 4 in the evening .

Evening

My friend mahesh called me and asked to come for a walk. I completed the remaining last chapter of the book and walk to Marsh's home.

We walked for a while near his area through the roads . After that I dropped him at his home. He told me to wait for for a while and he handed me one of his assignment . He told that , he remains too busy in his job routine and might be unable to complete his assignment on time.
I told him to not to worry , I will help him for his assignments. And took one of his assignment to home.

What is written in that book is absolutely true. And indeed life is colorless without struggles. Maybe we never get the true insight and understanding of our being and the society we live in.

Interestingly, you ask someone to go through the vicious cycles of struggles, no one would be interested to go through those processes. But life is really crazy, and when it throws a situation or force you into struggles, then a person is bound to go through that. In a hindsight then we analyze our life, those who accept those challenges in life and make it an opportunity are the real winners, but again they do so when they are forced to do so, nobody is willingly embracing struggles(at least in their perception or the way they conceive their life).

Have a great day.
