Blessed day: washed my clothes, cooked and read my books
Hello everyone, hope your day went well?, welcome to another episode of my diary season with yours truly @treasure01, and on today's episode I will be sharing with you on how I spent my day so get a popcorn let's get it started.

A picture of my soaked uniform
My day started off kind of smoothly, I couldn't wash my uniform when I came back from school, so since I wasn't going to school today I decided to do my Laundry. It was a whole process, soaking, scrubbing the collar and sleeves, rinsing then hanging. Laundry is boring and tiring but it's also an honest work. You see the before to after, from dirty to clean.
A picture of me hanging my already washed uniform
After washing my uniform I was basically making sure everything gets enough sun . The whether today was perfect for my uniform to dry quicker.i try to peg everything properly because nobody wants their clothes flying with the wind especially uniform , and I always like standing back and seeing everything on the line feels like an accomplishment. It slow...it simple but in that moment my corner world feels free and organized. Laundry honestly felt less like a chore and more like a self care , and by the time I was done hanging the washed clothes, my hands were a little wrinkled and tried. But I sat for a minute and looked at everything swaying, drying, and becoming new again.p
After washing my uniform, I went inside then prepared everything I needed so I can start cooking. Cooking was actually fun there was music, I was tasting and adding seasoning , almost burnt somethings ...the normal chef ways. i chopped the onions slowly .. even though my eyes were watering. I stirred the pot and tasted and added more seasoning because cooking is just guessing and hoping. The best part of cooking is the aroma when you know it going to taste as good as it looks for certain and then another good part of cooking is the dishing, the food goes from the pot to plate and then it suddenly looks like a long hoped effort. I took a picture of course then I dished out the delicacy.
After dishing the food, I sat down and the whole day feels a little better. It not even about being fancy. Sometimes it just rice and egg . Eating is my reset button, I'm not thinking about school, chores or to do list . It just me food and music. I eat slowly because I actually like the taste. I'll eat , pause and think "wow" I made this, this is so good and before you know it the plate is empty and sadness because it over. When I was done eating, I felt full , relaxed and reading to do something else.
The house is quite. And everywhere is calm , book in hand and the world outside just fades. At first my mind is noisy thinking about laundry and of course food, But after a few pages it settles. The words start to feel like a place. Like I'm not reading anymore am there , in the book , I love that part where you hold a book and everywhere is calm and quite the wind is blowing and nature is doing it thing and when I finally close the book , I feel different. Fuller and calmer like I borrowed peace from where I lost it.
At the end of the day , reading isn't about finishing pages, it about the quiet. The pause, the moment where is just you and your book . From laundry to cooking and reading all seems small like everyday things. But in the middle of them is where I find peace. None of it is loud or fancy. It just me showing up for myself in simple ways and somehow does moment that makes me feel at home in my own life. Thanks for reading
