For Week 1 of Steemit Challenge Season 28 – The Good Food Route I decided to visit a very well known tea spot in Peshawar called Kante Chaman Café located in Food Street Phase #6 Hayatabad. This place is famous for its delicious tea parathas and a warm family friendly atmosphere.

First Impresion & Atmosphere

As soon as I entered the cafe felt lively with bright lights yellow chairs and a pleasant evening vibe. The cooking area was busy—large pots of tea boiling cups neatly arrange and the staff prepared fresh orders nonstop. The place has open air seating which makes it perfect for winter evening.

What I Ordered

I enjoyed:

• Dodh Patti Tea (80 PKR = 3.6 STEEM)
• Omelette paratha (80 PKR = 3.6 STEEM)
• Special Chai served in beautiful blue cups

The taste was amazing creamy hot and perfectly brewed. The omelette paratha was crispy and filling making it the ideal evening snack.

Kante Chaman Café is famous for its special doodh patti karak chai and green tea. The taste is rich creamy and perfectly balanced. I ordered two cups of doodh patti along with freshly made omelette paratha.

• Food Price: Reasonable for good quantity

They also offer different snacks like parathas buns and sweet items. The menu boards in the images clearly show a wide variety of options.

The service is quick and the staff is polite. Payment can be made in cash and they also offer home delivery as shown on their menu board.

Experience with My Food

The tea was strong and flavorful served in beautiful blue patterned cups (as seen in the pictures). The paratha was hot crispy and a perfect combination with tea. It was an ideal evening snack.

In my country tea (chai) is definitely the most Iconic and most commonly enjoy drink. People Love to have it multiple time a day.

2. Described your favorite tea & when you enjoy it.

My favorite tea is doodh pattirich Creamy and full of aroma. I usually enjoy it in the evening after long day It helps me relax and refresh.

3. What is the ideal snack to enjoy with your tea?

For me omelette paratha or simple Crispy paratha is the Perfect snack to enjoy with a cup of hot tea. It make the Experience completed.
