SLC-S29/W2-“Thinking and Ideas!| Simple Solutions to Big Problems!”
It’s second week of the challenge and I am pleased to be part of “Thinking and Ideas” class again. I will move straight to the tasks and share my thoughts below;
Choose a global or local problem (education, waste, traffic, unemployment, loneliness, etc.). Propose a simple, realistic solution that does not rely on advanced technology.
Problem chosen: Education
Education still stays one of the urgent global and local problems, especially in communities where schools are over populated and learning resources are limited. Many students attend classes daily yet continue to suffer with basic reading, writing and problem-solving skills. This void often grows larger outside the classroom, where families have busy schedules, may lack the funding or resources and understanding. Creating a learning circles in a more comfortable environment for the students will definitely make studying interesting and fun. Every student are to be grouped; in age, height and even physical appearance to give each of them self esteem and confidence they need.
Who would benefit most from this solution?
A simple and sensible solution is the creation of community learning group. These are small casual study sessions held weekly in well-known places such as the classrooms after hours, community halls, libraries or religious centres. Helps such as senior students, retired teachers or educated community members can guide the younger ones through home work , revision and foundational lessons. The strategy depends on basic materials, like note books , textbook, chalkboard and printed worksheets rather than complex technology.
What possible challenges or limitations do you think your idea might face?
The people who benefit mostly from these solutions are students who come from under privileged household who can't afford tutoring services, students who are unfamiliar in large classrooms would gain individual care; helping him or her build confidence and improve learning and understanding. Volunteers also benefit in many ways, as teaching strengths their own knowledge and a sense of responsibility and leadership.
In the long-range,the society as a whole benefit from a well educated population with improved opportunities. Furthermore, this comes with challenge maintaining helpers commitment can be a little bit difficult, especially without financial motivation , restricted learning materials may limit what can be taught and poor attendance could reduce productiveness if students or helpers lose motivation.
I will invite @chant, @eliany and @suboohi to join the challenge.

Hi @adylinah, welcome to thinking and ideas week 2
Your choice isn't bad at all because the education needs concentration. It would be nice to see the education sector change shape, and been enjoyed by everyone.
Well, I think you will be needing a lot of funding to carry out your duty. That's the no.1 challenge.
Thank you for the review!
