We all have our own preferences at work. We want to engage in a profession according to our own choice and skill to become financially independent. I will also choose my career according to my choice. Steam for Pakistan is choosing such a great theme for the fifth week "What do you prefer job or business?". Let's begin.

Job or Business How do you manage your monthly budget?

I have completed my studies and am developing my skills for a job. The budget I set for my own monthly expenses is mostly taken from my father. But I have some income myself. That savings is still given to me by my father which I use to meet my own monthly expenses. What remains is the question of my source of income.
I was at home during covid 19 with the money I saved from my tuition and father's money and started a cow farm from which I got money from time to time. Now that I am out, I have to hire a shepherd who is not only my sole shepherd but also looks after the cows of my brothers' farm.

Are skills or education important to get a good job or run a successful business?

I am a job seeker I will share this from my own perspective. Education and skills are critical to success anywhere today.

I have done post graduation this is my only qualification. I have qualified a job application is the first step in getting a job. But your education won't land you a job if you fail in the second step skill. That's why skill with education is crucial.

I have had an experience where I was qualified but dropped due to lack of skills. I have been dropped from Bangladesh Police traffic surgeon post due to lack of good computer typing skills. So I prioritize skills with education.

Do you want to be a boss or a successful businessman?

I am an entrepreneur and businessman. I have a small cow farm and am involved in the business of pesticides for modern agriculture in share with my brother. I have had and am having good success in the cow farm. Similarly I have developed a good position in business which is fully under my brother's care. I don't want to be a boss, I want to be a successful businessman because no one should think of me as an employee. I am profiting from both.

Your favorite job or business success story?

Let me start with my own small success story.. I had to stay at home and spend idle time when the world is in a state of panic due to covid pandemic and so is Bangladesh. Suddenly the idea of ​​cow rearing came in my mind. It was right in the month of Ramadan. I also started with two cows with the money saved from my tuition. Seeing my enthusiasm, my father gave me some more money. I reared a total of 5 cows until the sacrifice.

I took 9 cows later with profit and original. Which now I have 23 cows in my small farm. So I think start with any small task and work hard you will succeed. (In the beginning I was also cheated by a broker while buying cows in the market). The profits of that firm are now invested in the business. Working in my firm is supporting someone else's household. I am ending today everyone keep praying that the story of success will be bigger.
