Hi friends…wherever you are, hopefully you are in good health and can carry out your daily activities

Today is a national holiday in Indonesia related to the celebration of Vesak, especially for Buddhists.

As a form of religious tolerance in Indonesia, the day on which Vesak is celebrated is designated as a national holiday intended for Buddhists to celebrate it as well as possible.

Usually, Buddhists perform their rituals of worship at local temples and celebrate by beautifying their houses and sometimes holding Lantern festivals (usually a tradition in Indonesia).

For people of other faiths, this holiday is an opportunity to carry out various activities such as cleaning the house, exercising and even traveling to desired tourist destinations.

I am a civil servant who works at the Plantation, Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Service who works on animal health everyday because I am a veterinarian. Today, I use this holiday time by cleaning the yard and also playing with the children, my children and nephews and take care of my pets in the form of Siamese chickens, parakeets and red tilapia in my pond.

Early in the morning I got up to clean up my pets by feeding and changing my pets drinking water and feeding my fish in the form of pellets that I bought at the Poultry Shop yesterday.

After feeding the fish, I looked at the garden in front of the house where the Japanese grass that I planted was rather long and seemed to have to be cut to make it look pretty and tidy.

But it can't be done today because my lawn mower is being used by my brother-in-law who is cleaning the back garden of my mother's house because it hasn't been cut for a long time so the grass in the garden is a bit long and looks bushy.

Then I decided to play with my daughter and her cousins in my mother's yard and the children play happily in the toy car alternately with each other.

This activity is actually their daily activity which they always do because almost all children, both my child and the children of my siblings always gather at my mother's place (their grandmother) which even looks like a mini kindergarten in my mother's house.

My mother also always looks after and watches them happily even if one of her grandchildren doesn't come home it will make her sad. That is the outpouring of the love of a mother who educates her children and even her grandchildren sincerely, which in fact cannot be appreciated by anything in this world. Thank you mom… ..You are the best gift for me …… ..Oh Almighty God, Extend my mother's age, keep her body healthy and make her happy at all times and make all that is done by her as charity which is the reason You gave Heaven to her… ..

After Zuhr prayer I plan to go to the pilgrimage to visit our brother who died a few days ago in Baktya District. He died of a chronic disease and was also of advanced age. My siblings and I went by car to the place of mourning until approximately before the Asr prayer.

After visiting and chatting there we also said goodbye and returned home because it was already late in the afternoon.

When I got home, my regular duties were waiting for me, namely watering the garden, feeding my chicken and red tilapia collection because I usually feed the fish twice a day.

And after feeding the fish I do light exercise to relieve fatigue all day and also to maintain my fitness. This is my priority every day because I am 46 years old and of course I have to take care of my health by eating healthy foods and exercising regularly, especially since I am a Hapkido martial arts practitioner since several years ago, who of course have to be fit in order to train students. It also helps me rehearse and repeat the material to make it more effective and efficient.
