My Valentine's Day - LOL

Here in the Netherlands, it's now the 15th, which means Valentine's day is over! Yay! So, how was my day? When I woke up this morning, my love sent me a text message to wish me a happy Valentine's day with this image:

We never plan to do something special on this day and my love had to work so we couldn't meet, but hey, my man keeps surprising me over and over again! I didn't expect anything as we discussed that everyday is 'Valentine's day', so we can surprise each other or buy flowers whenever we want :P. Anyway, later he wrote to me on WhatsApp: "Babe, SURPRISE!" I was like:"What is he talking about?.. Let me just say: Yay! 0_O". Then he told me he had a small surprise for me and that I had to pick up the package at the store after 5 p.m. Awh, super duper cute! Of course I was excited. I'm getting a surprise! (I love surprises).

At 5.30 p.m. I went to the store to pick up the package. It was a box and the weight was light. When I got to the car, I opened the box and a small card was in it with a message from my love. Then I opened the present and it was mascara and lipstick from L'Oreal. Yay haha, needed new mascara and receiving new lipstick is always good :P! Lol. So, this was a small gift he gave me. Small or big, getting a gift or not, it doesn't matter to me as his love he is giving me every day by taking good care of me, is enough! Still, I'm a woman. I like getting gifts :P LOL. Anyway, as he also needs a break from the working life, he is planning to take me to Lisbon in Portugal for Valentine's day too! We will travel at the end of March or April. 

As you read, my love spoils me. Even though we discussed not to buy each other things for Valentine's day, he did. Now I feel really guilty, so yeah, what should I give him back?! I have some ideas already, but still have to choose between them. And of course, I will continue giving my love to him (by feeding him lots of made-with-love-food) and be the best girlfriend I can be! :D

Besides my gifts, I went to the flower shop to buy something small for my parents. A pink rose, with white flowers in a small vase. The text on the picture below says:"For my Valentine" in Dutch.

I went home and hide the flowers somewhere in the gallery when I got home. After my parents and I had dinner, I've waited for my dad to get him in the gallery. I was waiting for the right moment. I called dad:"Dad! COME OVER HERE!" He was like:"Girl, whaddup!? 0_O" My father doesn't talk much. He is more of an action man, but when he speaks it's never bull shit and it is always about something I can learn from. Anyway, I closed the door when we were in the gallery and I picked up the flowers in the vase, and gave it to him. HE LAUGHED SO HARD! It's very rare that he is laughing like that! Oh, my heart melted. I told him quietly:"You have to give this to mom, so she knows you are still romantic and you think about her! HAHAHA" So, I went to the living room and my mom was wondering what we were doing. I grabbed my phone and made a video of it. I don't want to post the video as my mom doesn't like posting things about her and my dad. Respect.

I recorded and told my dad to come in. He opened the door with a big smile and walked to my mom to give her the flowers and a kiss! Moments like this of your parents is incredible and amazing to see. Dad also thanked me, but he said:"Actually, I'm not someone who follows the crowd with days like Valentine's day", however, mom was very happy to receive the flowers as dad actually never buy her flowers. It's very rare when he does it. I don't know if it's something Asian..
