Helping hands for School Children | Emotional Outcome

A few days ago, I shared a Proposal for Fundraising, with you to provide stationery items and other equipment for children in Kattamurichchana School, Anuradhapura.
Well, we could make it successful more than we expected on the 10th of December. The happiness reflected through the authentic smiles and enthusiasm of the students, and the emotional faces of parents highlighted what this meant to them.
So, I will share a summary of the donation campaign carried out.
The Fund Raising
The initial program was to help 76 students with a budget of Rs. 400,000 (6277 STEEM). But with the kind responses of noble donors, we could raise up to Rs. 562,000 (8800 STEEM).
Therefore, the program was extended including a nearby preschool also making the total number of children 91.
From my post, @sl-charity and @patjewell also contributed. Anyway, I didn't do a big promotion, funding was easily found.
Collecting Presents
With the help of the school principal, we prepared the list of items according to the requirements. Items were purchased from different vendors like Promate, Ratna, Mango, Atlas, etc, renowned brands in Sri Lanka, to ensure the quality and durability of products.

The event was held on the 10th of December. Actually, I couldn't participate due to a personal reason. Anyway, a number of representatives were there to hand over the items.
They were warmly welcomed by the students, teachers, and parents and dancing performances also have been organized.

This is a collective and honest effort taken to benefit the free education of kids hoping to see them achieve their dreams one day.
Therefore, heartiest gratitude to all the supportive donors and coordinators who helped unconditionally to make this a success. And for the principal and teachers of the school, students, and parents who helped in this to brighten up the process.
