The Magnificent Syuhada Mon Geudong Mosque in Lhokseumawe City

Hello, good night Steemit friends, wherever you are. How are you all? I hope we are all in good health and can carry out all our activities well. On this occasion, I am again participating in the Steem Atlas competition held by my friend @solaymann by reviewing a mosque located in the area where I live, Lhokseumawe, Aceh. The mosque in question is the Syuhada Mon Geudong Lhokseumawe Mosque. The Syuhada Mon Geudong Mosque is located on Jalan Tgk. Chiek Ditunong, Mon Geudong, Banda Sakti District, Lhokseumawe City, Aceh Province.

From a distance, the dome of the Syuhada Mosque can be seen, looking magnificent and beautiful. For Muslims, a mosque holds profound significance. For Muslims around the world, the mosque is a symbol of unity and a center of civilization that serves not only as a place of worship but also as an educational, social, economic, and cultural institution that is crucial for the empowerment of the community. The significance of a mosque is so great that it is not only a place for congregational prayer, dhikr, and reciting the Koran, but also as a center for social activities such as zakat management, education, and deliberation to resolve problems in society.

Like most mosques in Aceh, the Syuhada Mon Geudong Mosque features a large and majestic dome in a combination of green and white, flanked by two smaller domes of the same color. The Syuhada Mosque is also supported by four minarets in the same color as the dome. The mosque features several pillars painted gold around the perimeter. The floor of the Syuhada Mosque is made of marble in matching colors, adding to the beauty of the mosque. The Syuhada Mosque is very large and magnificent, consisting of two floors. However, only the first floor is currently used for the main activity, namely congregational prayers.

The Syuhada Mosque has a modern architectural design with Middle Eastern influences. The interior of the mosque is also beautiful and stunning. The inner dome is decorated with circular patterns combined with large golden chandeliers. The Syuhada Mosque is currently not fully completed and still needs donations and alms, especially for the construction of the ablution area. Although it does not have air conditioning, worshipping at the Syuhada Mosque is very comfortable and cool. For other facilities, such as mosques in general, there are ablution areas and toilets for both male and female worshippers in separate locations.

There is also ample parking for worshippers, both two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles. There is a covered parking area for motorcycles, providing protection from rain and the hot sun, next to the mosque. The Syuhada Mon Geudong Mosque in Lhokseumawe also regularly holds the five daily obligatory congregational prayers. Friday prayers are also held every Friday and are open 24 hours to all worshippers and the surrounding community. I personally often pray at the Syuhada Mosque when I'm in the city. Generally, praying at the Syuhada Mosque is very comfortable and calming for all worshippers.
