Da buon tifoso juventino, non ho particolare simpatia per il quotidiano sportivo rosa, di casa a Milano e di proprietà di Urbano Cairo, il patron del Torino FC. Fin dai tempi di Calciopoli, il giornale sportivo più venduto d'Italia ha avuto un ruolo fondamentale nell'indirizzare il sentimento popolare in chiave anti-Juventus, e da allora, che si tratti di inchieste, processi o semplici questioni di campo, non ha mai fondamentalmente cambiato le proprie strategie comunicative.

La rosea si è lentamente trasformata negli anni da autorevole quotidiano di informazione sportiva a punto di riferimento per tutto il mondo anti-juventino. La crisi di vendite dei giornali ha fatto propendere per gli affari, a scapito della ricerca della verità, e tutto ciò che riguarda la Signora è stato di conseguenza in qualche modo "peggiorato", caricato di elementi negativi o, se già riferito a questioni delicate, esagerato al massimo, per placare la voglia di rivalsa del lettore medio.

Si potrebbe obiettare che tutti i quotidiani posseggono il proprio pubblico a cui rendere conto e di conseguenza una linea editoriale ben precisa, ma questa, per non scadere in velina di partito, dovrebbe limitarsi alla concessione di più o meno spazio ai rappresentanti politici o alle squadre di riferimento e non al puro travisamento dei fatti o alla mistificazione della realtà.

Questa cosa, che a volte pare sfuggire decisamente di mano, è sfociata più volte in passato in vere e proprie minzioni fuori dal vaso, dall'involontario effetto comico. Capita infatti che determinate interviste o alcuni articoli non vadano esattamente nella direzione sperata e che di conseguenza i titolisti del quotidiano sbiadito siano costretti a correggere il tiro, per evitare di infastidire il popolo assetato di sangue.

L'ultimo episodio del genere si è verificato nell'intervista, pubblicata oggi, al ministro dell'Economia, Giancarlo Giorgetti. Pungolato su alcuni temi d'attualità sportiva, l'esponente di governo ha fondamentalmente espresso interessanti e chiari concetti che un qualsiasi abitante del pianeta Terra interpreterebbe piuttosto in linea con il pensiero dei tifosi juventini, sull'assurdità delle ultime inchieste.

Giorgetti ha in sostanza ribadito che la giustizia sportiva non è indipendente ma completamente asservita alla politica, nel senso più largo del termine, che un qualsivoglia illecito amministrativo non dovrebbe mai ritrovarsi punito con sanzioni sportive e che il clima d'odio che si è generato con le ultime inchieste poco ha a che vedere con il mondo dello sport.

Un discorso quasi da ultras, con tanto di sciarpa bianconera al collo (anche se il ministro è ufficialmente tifoso del Varese e del Southampton), che tuttavia in Cairolandia è stato tradotto con lo spettacolare titolo: "Se la Juve è colpevole bisogna sequestrarle lo stadio". Giorgetti ha effettivamente fatto riferimento con un'iperbole all'Allianz Stadium, ma solo per ribadire un concetto: eventuali reati amministrativi devono essere trattati esclusivamente sul piano economico e non su quello sportivo.

Detto in altre parole, piuttosto che affliggere punti di penalizzazione per questioni amministrative, sarebbe più sensato persino il sequestro dello stadio. Concetti chiari, ma spostati ad hoc dal proprio focus, giusto per mantenere la propria linea editoriale nei confronti del gran numero di persone che legge o riporta soltanto i titoli. Ma un altro punto che sta molto a cuore al quotidiano sbiadito e che ha invaso un po' tutti i salotti sportivi è il famoso tema dell'afflittività.

L'eventuale (quasi scontata) nuova penalizzazione che la Juventus riceverà lunedì prossimo per l'inchiesta sulle plusvalenze (a proposito, mentre qui ci troviamo di fronte già al quinto grado di giudizio, qualcuno ha notizie da Napoli per il caso Osimhen?), dovrà rispettare, come ribadito e preteso a gran voce dai giornalisti milanesi, il criterio dell'afflittività, espressamente previsto dal codice di giustizia sportiva.

La vox populi chiede che a Madama vengano levati abbastanza punti per impedirle la qualificazione alla prossima Champions League (e lasciare così verosimilmente strada al Milan o alla Roma), siano essi alla fine cinque, otto, dodici o tendenti all'infinito. Un concetto barbaro, che in realtà non trova conferma da nessuna parte, dato che, oltre alla necessità di una pena afflittiva, non bisogna dimenticare come la stessa debba innanzitutto risultare commisurata alla gravità dei fatti. E se non in grado di far perdere al soggetto penalizzato un obiettivo, può tranquillamente venire spostata, in tutto o in parte, al torneo successivo.

Ma c'è di più: a che punto si stabilisce se una pena è afflittiva o meno? Sicuri che anche solo quattro o cinque punti non risultino già centrare questo criterio nell'attuale campionato, pur non permettendo teoricamente l'esclusione dalla prossima Champions League, trasformata ad arte nell'unico aspetto da punire?

Perdere il secondo posto, ad esempio, comporterebbe la mancata partecipazione alla prossima Supercoppa italiana, nonché un minore introito da premi ricevuti dalla Federazione in base alla classifica finale. La domanda da porsi a questo punto è un'altra: l'afflittività si può considerare appagata solo quando i lettori della rosea hanno "bevuto" abbastanza sangue?

The crisis in newspaper sales has made newspapers lean towards business, to the detriment of the search for truth, and everything about the Lady has consequently been somehow 'worsened', loaded with negative elements or, if already referring to sensitive issues, exaggerated to the maximum, to appease the average reader's desire for revenge.

It could be objected that all newspapers have their own public to whom they are accountable and consequently a very precise editorial line, but this, in order not to lapse into party tissue, should be limited to the granting of more or less space to political representatives or teams of reference and not to the pure misrepresentation of facts or mystification of reality.

This thing, which sometimes seems to get way out of hand, has several times in the past resulted in real out-of-the-blue ministrations with an unintentional comic effect. In fact, it happens that certain interviews or articles do not go exactly in the desired direction and that as a result, the titularists of the faded newspaper are forced to correct the shot, in order to avoid annoying the bloodthirsty people.

The latest such episode occurred in the interview, published today, with the Minister of the Economy, Giancarlo Giorgetti. Prodded on some topical sporting issues, the government exponent basically expressed interesting and clear concepts that any inhabitant of planet Earth would interpret rather in line with the thoughts of Juventus fans, on the absurdity of the latest investigations.

Giorgetti basically reiterated that sporting justice is not independent but completely subservient to politics, in the broadest sense of the term, that any administrative offence should never find itself punished with sporting sanctions, and that the climate of hatred generated by the latest investigations has little to do with the world of sport.

An almost ultras-like speech, complete with a black and white scarf around his neck (even though the minister is officially a fan of Varese and Southampton), which nevertheless in Cairolandia was translated with the spectacular headline: 'If Juve is guilty, the stadium must be confiscated'. Giorgetti did indeed refer with hyperbole to the Allianz Stadium, but only to reiterate a concept: any administrative offences must be dealt with exclusively on the economic level and not the sporting one.

In other words, rather than awarding penalty points for administrative issues, even the seizure of the stadium would make more sense. Clear concepts, but shifted ad hoc from their focus, just to maintain their editorial line to the large number of people who read or just report the headlines. But another point that is very close to the heart of the faded newspaper and that has invaded all the sports salons is the famous issue of affliction.

The possible (almost foregone) new penalty that Juventus will receive next Monday for the capital gains investigation (by the way, while here we are already facing the fifth degree of judgement, does anyone have any news from Naples for the Osimhen case?), will have to respect, as reiterated and loudly demanded by the Milanese journalists, the criterion of afflictiveness, expressly provided for by the code of sports justice.

The vox populi are demanding that Madama be deducted enough points to prevent her from qualifying for the next Champions League (and thus likely leave the way to Milan or Roma), whether they are ultimately five, eight, twelve or tending to infinity. A barbaric concept, which in reality is not confirmed anywhere, given that in addition to the need for an afflictive penalty, it must not be forgotten that it must first and foremost be commensurate with the gravity of the facts. But there is more: at what point is it determined whether a penalty is afflictive or not? Losing second place, for example, would mean missing out on the next Italian Super Cup, as well as a lower prize income from the Federation based on the final ranking. The question to be asked at this point is another: can the affliction only be considered fulfilled when the Rosea readers have 'drunk' enough blood?
