Find Your Dream Job
Your job is more than a way to earn money.
Think about it. You meet someone at a party and what is the first or second question they ask?
"What do you do?"
Immediately, you tell them about where you work, what you do there and so on. Why do we all talk about this topic so much?
Your job tells other people a lot about you. It is much more than the place you go to work each day. It is more than the source of your income. It is a huge part of who you are!
Your work is not just a way to pay the bills. It is how you contribute to your family, your community, your country and our world! It is also how the world gives back to you.
If you want a life that has more - more satisfaction, more enjoyment, more excitement, more peace, more contentment, and more money - then you must begin to view your work as an extension of who you are - it is anyway - whether you believe it or not - so why not make it conscious!
This is one reason that being without work is so difficult. A job is one reference point we use to get a feeling of ourselves as strong, capable, and valuable. That being the case, if you want to feel more powerful, more capable and more valuable, it is important that you find a job that will help you to achieve this.
Another reason that searching for a job is challenging is dealing with the feelings of rejection. Have you ever felt rejection while searching for a new position? Of course you have, and if you haven't yet you will!
So how do you handle rejection? What you say to yourself immediately after being rejected has a huge impact on you self esteem.
Do you say "I didn't think I was good enough for that one anyway" or "I knew I couldn't do that" or "I didn't really want that position anyway"?
How do you think statements like this will affect your self esteem? Do you think you will feel better about yourself?
All of these statements are common ways people react after the experience of being rejected.
Do these statements help you?
NO! Of course they don't. In fact they work against you and make it more difficult to find your dream job. If you want to find a new job, then start by creating something new inside. Start by creating new beliefs about what you can do. Start by creating a new vision of what you want in your life. Start by replacing negative self defeating thoughts with positive self promoting thoughts.
This can be the beginning of creating a life that you thought existed only in your dreams.
If you believe you can or you believe you can't - you are right.
- Henry Ford
It all starts with your beliefs.
I believe you can find work that will fill you with joy, a job that will make you excited about getting out of bed, a job that supports you to be the type of person you would like to be.
Do you?
The most important piece of information that you must uncover before you search for a job is - what do you love to do?
Uncovering your likes and dislikes, what you are passionate about and what you hate, what you would jump out of bed to do and what you would rather just sleep through, are all part of focusing your job search. I have included a few highlights from What Color Is Your Parachute by Richard Nelson Bolles and Barbara Sher's best sellers I Could Do Anything If I Only Knew What It Was and Live The Life You Love. These books have a ton of tools that will help you decide what you would love to do, how to get started doing it, and the importance of commitment and taking action.

Hard work is primary product & money is secondary or by product
I always tell my subordinates in the office to treat their duties more than just a job. Not only because I wanted them to work but also I wanted them to improve socially.
