The diary game// Happy matriculation to my second son 04/04/2014

It was a remarkable day in my family, yesterday was my most happiest day in my life and I decided to share with us.

My son matriculation ceremony was yesterday at the university of uyo, he got admitted into the university to study mechanical engineering, he turned 17 years old in March 14 and he is already in his first level at the university.

We got notifications that the matriculation ceremony will be on the 04/04/2025, so I started preparing his dress and I fulfilled his wishes on his outfit.

Yesterday morning, I work up as early as 4am and I start preparing my self, all this days my concentration was for my son, I was preparing for his dress, arranging for the venue and the entertainment.

I didn't even remember to think about myself, it was the previous night that I remembered that I had not fixed my hair nor make my nails, not to talk about my dress.

So waking up that early morning was to take care of myself because I was to drop my son in school by 7:30am so that he can join others in the procession period.

I start by fixing my nails and I thank God it was already made nails so it was not difficult for me to fix them, after fixing I painted it and I allow it to dry before I started doing some other things required to be done, I did this so that I won't spoil my nails.

When I was done, I installed my frontal hair and I allowed it to dry as well. Then I took my bath before I went into the makeup process, all this while my son was still sleeping and I didn't bother to wake him up to bath.

I start doing my makeup and then check the time behold it was passed 6am already the driver that will pick us will be coming by 7am so that we can reach the school by 7:30 am.

So immediately I woke my son up from bed in order for him to take his bath and get himself dressed up before the drivers arrive.

So guys by 7:20am the driver was already in my compound waiting and I had finished dressing up too and we moved to the car.

Reaching the school, arrangement was ongoing and others celebrant were coming in and I located a seat for myself while my son went to their department stand.

The procession started few minutes after our arrival and to be truly honest the crowd was massive, there were about 10700 student that did their matriculation that yesterday.

By 11am my steemit family turned up for me, @bossj23 took the lead, @ngoenyi and family showed up and other steemians turned up and I was surprised by the show of love. They make the event so colorful for me, I was so happy of their presence.

In the afternoon the event was still ongoing and I wait patiently to the end and when I noticed that it was passed 1pm, I ask @bossj23 to take some of the steemians to the reception venue and I stood back waiting for my siblings to arrive so that we can take pictures together. My siblings took time to arrive because of the crowd and holdup was massive, they didn't had a clear road to pass. So after some time they were able to locate us and the family was complete. We took different pictures.

After taking pictures we moved to the reception venue where I will be entertaining my visitors.

Reaching there a lot of steemians and friends were already seated and they were well entertain with foods and drinks, I made sure that everyone was fully entertained and went home with joy.

We had so much fun and then my elder brother decided to change the venue and we located a new restaurant and some of the visitors that was still around join us, we had so much fun and my son was very happy because we celebrated him very well, it's not an easy task to finish secondary school and that same here, you got admitted into university. So it was a thing of joy in the family.

We were outside till 8pm, I was very tiring and I needed to have some rest, so we find our way back home and I didn't even bother to eat or bathe, I went straight to bed without knowing.

I'm happy because I was able to celebrate my second son, he has made me a proud mom, he has given me reason to continue living for them.
