The Diary Game: 01.02.2026 | Between Warm Sunshine and Hospital Corridors

Today was quite a sunny day. It is the beginning of February, and the cold has already become much lighter than before. Because of that, I was feeling comfortable, although the early morning still carries a gentle chill. The warmth of the midday sun felt really pleasant, and I spent some time sitting in the sunlight. Later, I went to a nearby shop and enjoyed a cup of tea.

At noon, I went to the field for a short while. A cricket match was going on there. Whenever I watch cricket, I feel like playing too. But it has been a long time since I last played. My old friend circle is no longer around, and my leg condition is not very good either, so playing cricket has almost stopped for me. After watching the game for a little while, I returned home.

After taking a bath, I had my lunch. Today my mother had an appointment with an orthopedic doctor at Green Life Lab and Hospital in Saidpur. In the evening, I took her to the station, and we traveled to Saidpur by train. When we reached the hospital, we heard that the doctor would arrive a bit late, so we had to wait. During that time, one of my friends came to meet me there.

By the time the doctor saw us, it was already evening. He suggested a few medical tests for my mother, and completing those tests took quite a while. After finishing, we went to a nearby restaurant for some snacks and ended up having dinner there. My friend only had a light snack.

Later, we visited a sweet shop and had some sweets and sandesh, while my friend chose yogurt. After that, we returned to the hospital, and by then the reports were ready. I collected them and took my mother back to the doctor. The reports showed early signs of bone loss in her spine. The doctor prescribed some medicines and guidance.

After finishing everything, we went to the auto stand to return home. On the way, we bought some grapes. It became quite late by the time we reached home, but overall the day felt meaningful. Thankfully, my mother’s condition is not very serious since it was detected early. By the mercy of Allah, I pray that she recovers quickly.
