Colorful butterflies and insects at Bangkok Butterfly Garden & Insectarium, Wachirabenjathat Park (Suan Rot Fai)

As promised in my previous post, yesterday I visited Bangkok Butterfly Garden & Insectarium, Wachirabenjathat Park (Suan Rot Fai) again to see the life of butterflies and insects closely.

Inside is a narrow hallway displaying some preserved butterflies and insects, along with species identification and information.

When entering the door to the butterfly wonderland, the first thing I noticed was how cool and humid the air was inside. There are small artificial waterfalls which make the surrounding atmosphere refreshing and relaxing.

The greenhouse contains various kinds of plants; i.e. tall trees and flowering shrubs provide shade and a good food source for butterflies.

While walking around, you will see various species of butterflies with beautiful colors and patterns. Some butterflies hover over flowers or fly around, some are perched on the ground, etc.

I especially like this orange butterfly....

It's a vibrant and lively atmosphere indeed.
