The warning note of Asuama to his prodigal friends was firmly pinned on his front door. The four friends of Asuama Tom Bull, Rowland Ekpo, Eskor Sammy and Ukeme Inwang had instinctively noticed the "strange" behaviour Asuama displayed toward them. When they made overtures to Asuama, he shunned them, and kept them at arm's length. They tried several times and days to get them "connected" with Asuama, but all their moves were only botched attempts. All of them planned to visit him in his house to renew their friendship, but they did not quite understand the sterner stuff Asuama was made of after re-discovering himself. Besides, Asuarna was able to recapture his lost vision to become the first medical doctor in his community. This alone had lifted Asuama from the terrestrial level he had been to the celestial plane he aspired to be.

"Let's try and visit him in the house and then see his reactions toward us there. We cannot give a good Judgement by his reactions only in the office",

suggested Tom Bull, the eldest of the four friends. "But one's reactions to others, whether in his office or house, is the saine," quipped Rowland Ekpo. "No, no, no. you are not right, everything about official issues, whether it is interactions, relationships or correspondences, take quite a different approach from personal or informal..", Eskor Sammy said, convincing everyone of them of the need to visit Asuama in his house.

One day, the all-important visit to Asuama's house was finally fixed by his prodigal friends without any prior notice to Asuama. They had not visited Asuama for about six months after the incidence of near fatal death by stupor with Asuana's would-be young girl friend. Since then, a lot of water had passed under the bridge, as the saying goes. On getting to Asuama's house, what greeted them as they stepped on the pavement leading to Asuama's room, sent shock waves into them!

"PLEASE CHECK THE NEXT HOUSE FOR YOUR TYPES, I AM IN A UNIVERSITY BOUND TRAIN AND WILL NOT BE BACK FOR MANY YEARS. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE"

Fortunately or unfortunately, Asuama was not in when his old friends visited. They knocked on the door persistently, thinking that Asuama had deliberately refused to open the door for them. "Let us pull down this rubbish", ordered Eskor Sammy, the most temperamental of the four, referring to the warning notice on the door. "You dare not do that, do you know what the law says...?", warmed Ukeme Inwang. "When an offended person does not show his anger by actions and utterances, such a person should be feared, for you can never tell what is in his mind against you," Ukeme Inwang advised.

All of them were furious at the action of Asuama and this was overtly enveloped in envy against him. They believed Asuama's warning notice which was publicly displayed on the door of his room, was a grave insult to their personalities and a strong bruise on their ego as persons who don't have any future. Therefore, all of them unanimously decided to teach Asuama a lesson of his life!

Therefore, the four fiendish friends of Asuama conspired to block his future and bring him down to their level of ignominy "Let us quietly go back, we have seen everything with our eyes...", suggested Tom Bull, the eldest of the four men, when there was no sign of Asuama in the room. "What exactly is in the offing?", asked Rowland Ekpo. "You do not disclose to your close friend in the market what you will do to a man who slept with your wife...", replied Tom Bull "Let us get back to our base, for I can perceive leaves and trees listening to our conversations," Tom Bull emphasized the need to be extremely secretive in their next plan against Asuama.
