RT @aaronjmars: fair launches are the worst form of token launch
except for all the others that have been tried

the main issue right now is that there is no playbook for founders to follow. so you can act like a sorrybro every time you do something wrong. bc you just didn't know ¯_(ツ)_/¯

i know i'm asking a lot from this industry that has been built from the ground up on scams & bundle, but.

if we are serious about fair launches being the future of tokens, we need to enforce a transparency mandate for devs

and i have good hopes, with what happens with ownership coins, token transparency framework by blockworks etc

the issue with the lack of transparency is that it pulls the entire industry down. thats the reason token holders can't hold for more than 1 hour right now. if you know you are playing a poker game where the host can pick his hand, you always fold.

we need to enable token-holders to hold something for one day, for one month, for one year, with confidence & knowing who owns tokens, that the team won't dump on them & that the dev is locked-in to work on the project.
