My tour of the La Copita roundabout, an important landmark in the city
Greetings and Happy New Year 2026, my nature-loving friends! May this year be filled with great blessings: love, health, peace, harmony, and happiness. It's the fourth day of January, and I'm still enjoying my son's school vacation. While looking through my phone's gallery, I found several photos from my visit to the La Copita roundabout, located between Gran Mariscal Avenue, Fernández de Zerpa Street, and Sucre Street. During December, my son and I planned a route to visit different places in the city. Our itinerary took us to several points of interest in the capital of Sucre state, including the aforementioned roundabout, which we've seen many times when running errands in this area. But this time, we took a tour to explore and get to know its spaces.
The roundabout has a lovely design; concrete walkways, gardens, benches, and a lower area where the sculpture that gives the round about its name is located—a concrete cup with a round base, followed by a kind of vase with colorful lines, a blue cylinder, and at the top another circle, larger than the base, with vertical lines of various colors
