Hiking Tour of Haizi Mountain in Sichuan, China
As the source of rivers, plateau glaciers retreat every year, and due to their distance from the world, only a very few people have the opportunity to step onto glaciers and experience their charm from zero distance. With yearning for the mysterious plateau glacier sea, we arranged this hiking in the Ledomanin Glacier in the Mount Gongga area. The Ledomenin Glacier is a glacier flowing down the north slope of the Ledomenin Peak at an altitude of 6112 meters, forming the Ledomenin Sea below the ice tongue. Due to his attention to the Gongga Ring Road, Le Dorman was on the left side of a pass midway through the Wuche Pass on the second day of his journey.
Day 1 itinerary
On the first day, we gathered at a place called Kangding Qingge, Sichuan. When we arrived at Kangding at more than 12 o'clock in the evening, we first found the local famous online hit card place - Kangding Love Song Square as the camp. In order to experience the real life of outdoor people, we all slept on the floor in the tent set up under the eaves of the hall that night.

Day 2 itinerary
At 6:30 in the morning, we started getting up and quickly packed our backpacks. After breakfast, we drove to the starting point for hiking.
At the starting point of the hike, we took a group photo and began a two-day hike. Of course, I clearly felt tired from the beginning, after all, the starting point of hiking has exceeded 3600 meters above sea level, and everyone still needs to adapt. After walking out of the forest and passing through a bridge, the beautiful scenery was displayed in front of us. We were walking in the valley, with a river on the left and a grassland on the right. Snow mountains were located on both sides of the nearby area, and in the distance, there were also snow mountains in front and behind.
The next journey is to slowly climb the slope, constantly cross the river, and rest to take photos. Occasionally passing by herds of cattle, horses, and a few local herders, they are all very kind and enthusiastic. Everyone greeted each other and exchanged a few pleasantries. We also inquired about the hiking route ahead, but in fact, this route is quite mature. After all, it is the first section of the Gongga Ring Road. During holidays, many people come from all over the country to hike.
At noon, we arrived at the Shuanghe Camp, and we had already completed more than half of our itinerary for today. After lunch, we continued to move forward, with the altitude constantly increasing and people becoming increasingly tired. However, fortunately, today's itinerary is not far away. It is only around twelve o'clock now, and there is plenty of time. Everyone is not in a hurry, walking and playing, and the itinerary is also very pleasant and comfortable. When encountering good scenery, we stop to take photos.
When we passed by the Shangri Uche Camp, we stopped to rest again. It was less than four kilometers away from the Shangri Uche Camp, and there were still several grazing houses, grasslands, rivers, herds of cattle, horses, and even groundhog.
After reaching our planned camp on the last slope, it was a bit surprising that a desert appeared at the Shangri Uche camp. After walking through this small desert, we arrived at today's campsite, which was not yet three o'clock in the afternoon.
At five o'clock in the afternoon, we started cooking dinner. Our teammates without altitude sickness were still playing and laughing, while those with altitude sickness could only lie quietly in the tent and rest.
As the evening approached twelve o'clock, I felt a bit uncomfortable, so I didn't seem to fall asleep all night and spent the night in a daze.

Day 3 itinerary
At seven o'clock in the morning, we start our departure. Up the river valley, we kept crossing the river until we arrived at a small canyon where the water was turbulent but there was no bridge, so we had to cross the river carefully. At two past eight at noon, we walked to the foot of Haizi Mountain, two minutes later than expected. When we reached an altitude of 4700 meters, we had already discovered the glacier, and we took photos here as a souvenir.
After 9:30, we started walking back and returned to the camp at 11:10. Around one o'clock in the afternoon, we began our journey back from the mountain. The return journey is a gentle downhill, and everyone is not in a hurry. While walking, they watch the beautiful scenery and take photos. Sure enough, the same route, the scenery they see when they come and when they return, is not exactly the same. On the way back, we even saw a group of groundhogs up close. At 6 pm, we smoothly returned to the starting point.
The next step is to drive back to Kangding. After a quick dinner, we drove back and successfully ended our hiking trip to climb Haizi Mountain.
