Birçok Camide Yer Alan “VAV” Harfi
Objektifime yansıyan bu fotoğraf 2012 yılında ziyaret ettiğim Amasya’daki 2. Beyazıd Camisi’nden.
Camilere ibadet ya da ziyaret için gidenler bazı camilerin çeşitli yerlerindeki duvarlarda "vav" harfinin yer aldığını görmüşlerdir.
"vav" Harfi İslam inanışımızda büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bazı önemli anlamları ise şunlardır;
Birleştirici olması ("ve" bağlacı olarak, yani Rahman ve Rahim'de olduğu gibi),
Harfin boyun eğmiş (secde etmiş) veya doğmadan önceki embriyoya benzemesi,
Allah'ın "vahid / vahded = birlik" özelliğini simgelemesi.
Hattatların da eserlerinde sıklıkla kullandıkları bir harftir "vav" harfi.
