MAY 1998 TRAGEDY THAT CAN NOT BE FORGOTED BY THE INDONESIAN PEOPLE

one of Indonesia's dark history occurred on May 12-15, 1998. The Joint Fact Finding team noted that 1217 people were burnt to death, 31 were missing, and 52 ethnic Chinese women were raped and burning incidents occurred in Jakarta, Solo, Medan and Yogyakarta .
