The current "holy trinity" of transhuman enhancement (pt. 3)

Stage III - Introducing "Individual Intervention Slots" for modular adjustments tailored to personal research objectives and requirements & introducing additional interventions to further refine each branch of the optimization model.

Also adding the component of thoroughly planning a concept for your regeneration.

Explanation

After you have accommodated yourself with the 2nd stage of our enhancement diagram model, it is now time to further improve upon what you learned & (hopefully) implemented, in order to gain even more useful synergies and to finally tailor the concept to your specific individual needs or requirements.

To achieve this fine-tuning, the model introduces 3 slots for individual interventions.

In theory you could of course choose as many additional interventions as you desire, but it really is the best idea to strive towards the ideal of reductionism, which stands at the conceptual core of this very model.

So better do not go overboard with adding more Individual Intervention Slots than really neccessary.

To make it somewhat easier, you could perhaps arrange your Individual Intervention Slots in a certain way to put more emphasis on a specific area of enhancement, i.e. for example you put 2 of the Individual Intervention Slots to the anti-aging section, one to the mind section and none to the body section, if that is what you want to focus on.

Body

D-Ribose:

D-Ribose is a sugar molecule that acts as one of two basic components for Adenosine, which in turn is the major component for the biosynthesis of Adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the primary unit of intracellular energy transfer in all living organisms found on Earth.

While your body can synthesize D-Ribose on its own from Glucose - naturally, as it is such an important molecule for ATP production - this process is rather slow, does not yield large amounts and requires more energy input than you later get as output from the utilization of the D-Ribose itself.

Thus it makes perfect sense to administrate D-Ribose via external supplementation and in turn clearly improve the production/replenishment rates of ATP in your cells.

On the most basic level we harness energy from somewhere else - for example solar energy -, bind it into D-Ribose molecules produced via biofermentation in yeast cultures and then supply this energy to ourselves via administration of D-Ribose.

If you think about it, this constitutes a profound integrative process between ourselves and the technological environment created by our civilization.

The resulting improvement in ATP recharge is so drastic, that instead of taking 1-4 days for a full recharge of depleted cellular ATP pools incurred from an exhausting event (i.e. physical exercise), the same recharge can be achieved within 6 - 24 hours (i.e. in a single day).

Of course as D-Ribose is a sugar molecule, it can have the slight downside of inducing the production of more AGE's (Advanced Glycation Endproducts), but our model takes this into consideration and recommends Carnosine to counteract this additional AGE buildup.

Assuming of course, that you have familiarized yourself with the concept of AGE's, which you can find in the previous article for Stage II of our model.

Mind

Theracurmin / Curcumin:

You very likely know already about the many health benefits of Curcumin, especially when it comes to fighting brain inflammation.

The world does not need another Curcumin article - but what you need to know about is Theracurmin.

Theracurmin is the trademark name of a - rather new - special preparation of Curcumin originally developed in Japan by Theravalues Corporation.

It has the best bioavailability of any known Curcumin supplement.

Various manufacturing techniques are combined to achieve a particle size that is approximately 100 times smaller than any other form of Curcumin powder (0.19 μm - 0.30 μm is the average size of Theracurmin particles compared to an average of 22.75 μm for normal Curcumin powders).

These small particles form a colloidal solution and this in turn drastically increases their solubility in watery environments.

Through the application of this highly soluble and absorbable Theracurmin colloidal solution you can achieve far higher blood-serum levels of Curcumin than with other variants and subsequently reap even more health benefits.

Anti-Aging

Nicotineamide Riboside or Nicotinamide Mononucleotide:

NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is the co-enzyme form of Niacin (Vitamin B3) and is vitally important for the cellular respiration processes occuring inside the mitochondria in order to produce energy for the organism (as it is involved in the production of ATP).

NADH is created when NAD+ is used up as reducing agent in enzymatic redox reactions within the mitochondria and subsequently gains a hydrogen atom/proton with positive charge as result of the process.

Levels of NAD+ within the organism decrease by approximately 50 % every 20 - 25 years of additional age, which means, that cellular energy production processes in older organisms compete for an ever diminishing pool of NAD+ co-enzymes.

As a result, mitochondrial function, basic metabolism rates and general health are negatively impacted and visible signs of old age start to show.

Apart from mitochondrial function, NAD+ also plays an important role in two other key areas:

  • A very important protein called SIRT1 requires NAD+ to perform its work
  • Enzymes that repair damaged DNA are regulated by NAD+

SIRT1 is a protein (of the Sirtuin class) that removes acetyl groups from other proteins.

When proteins get exposed to the toxic products that originate from inflammatory or oxidative processes, they take up acetyl groups.,

Through SIRT1 faciliated removal of these acetyl groups, the protein can stay functional for longer and at the same time, the protein is stabilized to resist further changes in its shape (remember: protein function is regulated through correct folding/shape).

Your body has 2 different pathways for the biosynthesis of NAD+:

a) The "De Novo Pathway" = Via consumption of L-Tryptophan or Niacin/Nicotinic Acid (Vitamin B3)

b) The "Salvage Pathway" = Via consumption of NAM (Nicotinamide) or NR (Nicotinamide Riboside) or NMN (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide)

As NAD+ is such a critical co-enzyme, it is constantly consumed and replenished via the Salvage Pathway throughout the day (which supplies about 85 % of all required NAD+). Approximately 3 g of NAM are metabolized into NMN and further on to NAD+ 2x - 4x every 24 hours.

The rate-limiting factor for the function of this Salvage Pathway is an enzyme called NAMPT.

Levels of this NAMPT enzyme also decline with advanced age and this also contributes to the diminishing reserves of NAD+ found in old organisms.

NMN (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) is the direct precursory step in the Salvage Pathway for producing NAD+.

The full metabolization of supplemental NMN into NAD+ only takes about 30 minutes and is very effective for restoring NAD+ levels.

Thus it would make most sense to supplement NMN directly.

The current main problem with this approach is the availability of NMN on the market and the resulting rather high cost.

NMN is also the only precursor to NAD+, that can really reach every cell in the body via the bloodstream and pass the above mentioned NAMPT rate-limiting factor.

Orally supplemented NR on the other hand gets filtered out from the bloodstream by the liver and is mostly metabolized there.

Nicotinamide Riboside (NR or also known by its trademark name "Niagen" ) is a somewhat more economically feasible alternative to NMN supplementation. The full metabolization of supplemental NR into NAD+ takes about 8 hours.

While NR can not reach every cell via the bloodstream, it still provides many systemic health benefits and increases levels of NAD+ to a still somewhat useful extent.

Research by Dr. Charles Brenner at the University of Iowa published in 2004 showed, that an enzyme called Nrk1 is able to directly catalyze NR (Nicotinamide Riboside) into NMN.

But the world had to wait until 2013, when research by Dr. David Sinclair at Harvard University demonstrated, that direct supplementation of NMN (and NR) is able to boost NAD+ levels and decrease visible signs of old age, even when only administered in the short term.

After this initial study was published, many other researchers also started to investigate how supplementation with NMN or NR could restore NAD+ levels in old organisms in order to revitalize & rejuvenate them.

If you can afford to do so and also have the availability aspect covered, then direct supplementation of NMN is the optimal choice to increase/restore NAD+ levels.

Remarks about regeneration

In contrast to the still rather unresolved topic of optimum human/transhuman nutrition, the picture looks a bit more clear, when it comes to optimizing regeneration.

The major share of regeneration and restorative processes happens during a state you should be quite familiar with: sleep.

While the organism is immobilized and - ideally - freed from external sources of stress, biological repair & maintenance programs kick in.

Most of this repair activity is controlled and regulated from within the brain, while simultaneously the brain is also undergoing major reorganization processes during the sleep state.

Apart from good sleep hygiene and sleep environment, with factors such as:

  • Sleep in a cool & dark area
  • Have an anatomically/ergonomically correct setup with fitting mattress/futon and pillow/full-body pillow
  • Optimize air intake/air flow during sleep with nasal breathing strips or a CPAP machine
  • Filter out blue light sources in the hours before your sleep phase (by using f.lux or Twilight app for example or with special filter glasses)
  • Administer nutrients/supplements beneficial to sleep quality (i.e. Glycine, Magnesium, Picamilon, Phenibut, Lemon Grass, Melatonin)

most of your sleep quality and therefore the function of regenerative processes will be enhanced by these factors:

  • (NA) Epithalon (Amidate)
  • Clearing/Filtering out sources of harmful EM waves/frequencies
  • Optimizing "brain wave" frequency profiles (with a SR1 Delta Sleeper or similar device)

Why are EM waves and brain waves so important for regeneration ?

| We will introduce the more fundamental aspects of this hypothesis/theory in a later, seperate essay.

Basically, DNA has another inherent layer of complexity as its basepairs form the symbols of a self-executing semiotic code and within neuronal structures inside the brain this resulting construct acts as a "hyperdimensional trap" for memetic spirits, which as "abstract" entities form the main constituent parts of your "consciousness" and of all forms of information transfer and representations of qualia, etc.

As semiotic constructs of higher dimensional existence than your own 3d body, these memetic spirits can "travel" by various means, attachement to EM waves is usually one of the main choices.

Not to be confused: the term "memetic spirit" has practically no relation to traditional concepts of "spirituality" or New Age nonsense.

To visualize the concept of EM waves and higher dimensional topologies to some limited extent:

Picture yourself floating underwater in a pool. When you look up to the boundary between the water and the surface, you will see various shapes floating around and casting shadows or perhaps illuminating the pool with various colours.

Shapes of information alignment residing within higher dimensional spaces, to be more precise.

Obviously all 3d objects are formed out of the same 3d building blocks and energy alignments, but the variable "information content" of these objects resides in higher dimensional spaces.

The underwater area of the pool is your 3-dimensional experience of reality, the zone above the waterline represents higher dimensional areas of reality.

Objects of higher dimensional existence cast shadows or colours on the surface of the pool, so basically what you experience as EM waves are just the shadows/colours of higher dimensional objects, while you actually are not able to fully comprehend the true shapes of these higher dimensional objects above the waterline.

Fascinating side fact:

To facilitate FTL travel to another area of the 3 dimensional pool you would need to manage a jump through the waterline and then find an even higher dimensional (3d+2) way to get expeditiously carried around the higher dimensional (3d+1) zone above the waterline (because otherwise information alignments residing in 3d+1 space would be disturbed and 3d+0 objects would collapse)

unfortunately it now occurs to you, that you are tethered to the floor of the pool with a massive anchor weight. No FTL travel for you, until you solve that slight problem.

Brain waves basically are a biological function to control the alignment of memetic spirits, that are attached to your neuronal structures.

Most external EM waves will cause some extent of disorganization in attachement and alignment patterns (a very good example for this concept would be gamma radiation, as exposure to this type of EM wave would totally disintegrate all patterns in your brain), thus it is the best idea to have a sleep environment devoid of EM wave sources.

On the other hand, brain waves can be modified and enhanced into beneficial patterns for sleep quality through special devices (same concept applies to tDCS devices for enhancing learning), like for example with the SomniResonance Delta Sleeper SR1 Sleep Device

to enhance control of alignment & attachement of memetic spirits and subsequent memory formation (which is the encoding & compression of the alignment of memetic spirits into 3d neuronal structures), which also occurs mostly during sleep.

When you attach a Delta Sleeper device to your brachial plexus (area of your body with nerve connections that lead towards the brain, found between your chest and neck around the mid-collarbone),

it will generate a so-called PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field), that will entrain/synchronize your brain waves to the same wavelenght as the waves programmed into the Delta Sleeper device.

The Delta Sleeper is specifically set up to induce the formation of Delta waves, which usually occur during stages III & IV of the sleep cycle (i.e. deep non-REM sleep).

Through use of the Delta Sleeper device, your brain will be gently lead through the correct stages of the sleep cycle with optimized brain wave formation, your memetic spirits will be correctly aligned/attached/encoded into neuronal structures and other restorative processes within the brain will also have best performance.
