I was watching the business news this afternoon and there was an interview about this same discovery. The interview was with an Asian scientist and it was very hard to understand him - no subtitles... I meant to dig deeper into the subject but totally forgot about it.

In the near future it might be possible to use the hyperloop to travel to outer space. The future is now :)
Hmm, a tube to the moon? Sounds interesting but maybe in a few hundred years :)
